I am a 23-year-old medical student who is half Greek and half Danish. I grew up in Brussels where I was lucky enough to have had 3 lovely golden retrievers at home.

Having dogs around me since I was born means that I have always witnessed the dynamics between people and dogs, but also between dogs. I have gained direct insight into dogs' body language; how they behave if they are hungry, if they want to go for a walk, if they want to go outside, if they are sick - or are anxious or sad. From here I have learned how to handle the different emotions that can arise in dogs and how to meet their physical and mental needs.

I have experienced dogs in all their different ages; from hyperactive puppies to older and calmer dogs. This has been a particularly educational gift as dogs at different stages of their lives have very different needs.

I have often looked after my 3 golden retrievers alone since I was very young if my parents have been away travelling. That is why I understand the great responsibility that it entails, that one gets to put - not just one - but three lives in one's hands.

Apart from dogs, I have taken care of many cats and therefore understand their body language. I have also owned two dwarf hamsters, and through this have learned a lot about how to take care of rodents.

I currently own an axolotl- so I also have experience with looking after animals that live in water.

I offer petsitting at your house for dogs and cats, where I am also more than happy to water the plants, take in the mail, etc. I am also able to administer medicine.

I can walk dogs up to 45 minutes each time, up to 2 times a day. As I am used to walking 3 golden retrievers at the same time, I am more than happy to walk several dogs at a time.

My experiences with different animals have given me the opportunity to see animals as being some of the most beautiful things that life has to offer - therefore animals can expect to be met with a lot of love from me. I can't imagine anything better than getting the opportunity to get to know other animals - from other families and backgrounds😄😄
