Hi,  

My name is Sunny (Zheng). I have been living in Copenhagen with my husband and two kids since 2014. We all have a big and warm heart for animals, especially cats. 

We have adopted a lovely Maine Coon called 'Mimi' since February 2022. She is so sweet and friendly and has become an integral member of our family since day one. She is also social, getting along with most of our guests and visiting pets. It is actually one of the reasons why we would like to start working as a cat sitter, so Mimi can meet and hang out with some furry friends too. 

Our house and garden are cozy and spacious, located in a beautiful, quiet and friendly neighbourhood. There is also a pretty, restful lake next to the house, where you find a wetland and rich wildlife.

YOUR LOVED ONES WILL NOT BE CONFINED TO A SMALL CAGE, BUT HAVE THEIR OWN ROOM AND AS MUCH FREEDOM AS POSSIBLE TO ENJOY:

- Plenty of space to roam within a spacious house as well as in an outdoor shed, or simply stay in their own room

- Plenty of opportunities to enjoy 'window hunting' and scenic surroundings through a best spot they choose

- Mingling with other furry friends they would like to be with

- Play and care from a loving family as we always pay attention to individual cat needs

Of course, if you prefer, we can visit your home on the daily basis (minimum 30 minutes per visit) to take care of your loved ones in their most familiar environment. The frequency, timing and duration of visits per day etc. will be agreed upon with the pet owner.

We will provide the daily update by email or SMS according to the agreement with the pet owner. 

*********************************** PRACTICAL GUIDELINES ***********************************

You are always welcome to make an appointment to meet us before your decision, so both parties can know each other better and agree on arrangements that meet your pet's specific needs.

For the time being, we can only provide accommodation for indoor cats. All cats must be vaccinated against feline distemper and influenza and must be healthy and free of fleas. The owner is required to present the necessary vaccination certificate (no more than one-year old) on arrival.

For the first 24 hours, your loved one will stay alone in his or her own room, i.e. the deluxe room (34 square meters, with both lake and garden views, suitable for 2-3 cats from the same family), the double room (14 square meters, with a garden view, suitable for 2 cats from the same family) or the single room (9 square meters, with a garden view, suitable for one single cat) without interactions with other cats, so it can help him or her settle into the new environment and relax asap. If needed, the 'quarantine' time can be extended.

For the whole boarding period, your loved one will keep his or her own room without sharing with other cats. In the low season, we strive to upgrade your furry friend's stay to a bigger room whenever it is available.

Please note that since the cats can decide to step out of their own room and move freely within the house after the initial settling-in period, we can not accept a male cat that has not been neutered. 

We will provide dry food with free access around the clock, unless it has been agreed with the pet owner differently. It can be one or more than one product from the most common brands like Royal Cannin, Hills, Iams, Arion and Whiskas. 

Our cat, Mimi eats the dry food tailor-made by Royal Cannin for Maine Coon. She is happy to share her food with your cat, if your cat wants to have a taste. You are also welcome to bring your cat's own food, litter tray, sleeping bed or blanket, and toys that can help your furry friend settle into the new environment quickly.

We can help give medicine together with food as long as the pet owner has provided the medicine and clear instructions. In case of emergency, when your cats need to see the veterinarian during their stay, your designated clinic will always be the first choice, if possible. Otherwise, we will choose the nearby Virum Dyreklinik.

We are sure your loved one will enjoy being in our place and having a lot of attention and care from a loving family :-).
