Hello! My name is Daniela, and I am originally from Germany, currently living in Copenhagen for my work at the University of Copenhagen. I have two lovely cats, Skadi and Freya, who have been with me for over 9 years, and I’ve been around cats since I was 16 – they’ve always been a part of my life!

I know how important it is to find a reliable and caring sitter for your pets while you're away. That’s why I’m offering my help as a pet sitter, hoping to give other pet owners the peace of mind I seek when I travel myself. I offer full care, including feeding, cleaning the litter box, playing, cuddling, and even administering medication if needed. 

While cats are my main focus, I’m also happy to care for other small animals, including rabbits, ferrets, and even rats. I have personal experience with all of these animals, having had each of them as pets at different points in my life. 

My availability is mostly in the mornings and evenings, as I work full-time, though I have some flexibility to accommodate your pet’s needs.

When caring for cats or other animals, especially shy or nervous ones, I take a calm and patient approach. I believe in letting each animal set the pace. I never pick up a cat (or any animal) unless it’s comfortable with that – I know that some pets prefer to keep their paws on the ground. Instead, I simply spend time in the room, letting them approach me if and when they feel ready.
