I am a 32 year old British national with a 2:1 BSc Honors degree in Zoology. I moved to Denmark in July 2018 and am currently studying Danish and working for an e-commerce company. 

Since a very young age I have loved animals and have kept a wide range of pets including cats, rabbits, hamsters, tropical fish and turtles. Furthermore, I have had previous jobs where my primary objective has been to look after animals. These include as primate keeper at a sanctuary in Spain where I would handle feeding, enrichment, cleaning and lived on site. I have also been a dog sitter and walker in England where I would also look after the clients property whilst they were away. I also worked as a volunteer at a local veterinary surgery where I was responsible for feeding animals, changing bedding and calming pets during routine check ups. I have additionally spent time doing zookeeper experiences. After spending my entire childhood fascinated by animals, I went to university to study Zoology in the hope that I could spend the rest of my life working with them.

As a result of keeping a wide range of different pets, I have a very good understandings of specific requirements depending on the species of pet. For example, how to exercise your pet, food quantities, food types, behavioural anomalies etc. During 3 years at university, my favorite subject was animal behaviour. I am very good at picking up different behavioural signals, thus ensuring pets do not become stressed, frightened or feel as though I am intruding. Instead I give them time to get to know me and in no way rush the process. Furthermore, I have experience in giving treatments to dogs, cats and rabbits, including flea and worm treatments, oral medicines and even ulcer draining, among other things.

I have a great affinity with animals and love nothing more than spending time with them and getting to know them.
