catSitting

A loving, experienced, playful and responsible pet and house sitter.
Animals have always been a big part of my life, and spending time with them genuinely makes me happy. I grew up with three dogs, two cats, a rabbit, and a turtle, so caring for animals has always felt natural to me.
I’m Argentinean-Italian and have been living in Denmark for more than 7 years. I have a Master’s degree from Aarhus University, and over the years I’ve regularly looked after friends’ dogs and cats for weeks at a time while they were on holiday. Now I'm expanding to more people and pets.
For more than two years, I’ve also been regularly caring for and walking a French Bulldog several times a week, as his owner has been going through a period of illness. This experience has taught me even more about patience, consistency, and understanding a dog’s individual needs.
I especially love dogs and cats, but I genuinely enjoy being around all kinds of animals. I’m patient, cheerful, playful, and active, and my priority is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply having someone nearby, I adapt to their personality and routine.
I also have plenty of patience with anxious, nervous, or less-trained dogs. I understand that every animal is different, and I never expect them to immediately feel comfortable in a new environment. I give them the time, space, and reassurance they need.
What I offer - I offer flexible pet-sitting services, including:
Dog walks
Pets & House Care (over night stays, long periods possible)
️ Daycare - Short and long visits
️ Boarding in my home (short periods)

I live in an apartment surrounded by parks and nature, making it a great environment for walks and outdoor time. I also live only a few minutes from the beach, so active dogs can enjoy longer and more energetic walks.
Since I usually spend most of my time at home, your pet will receive lots of attention, company, and care throughout the day rather than being left alone for long periods.
I also have a cargo e-bike, which means I can easily take pets to their favourite walking spots or, if needed, use it for emergency transportation.
I’m happy to care for puppies, senior pets, and animals that need a little extra patience, attention, or reassurance.
️ Why I pet sit
For me, pet sitting is much more than simply looking after an animal or a home. I love the companionship, the joy pets bring, and the trust involved in caring for someone’s beloved family member.
My goal is for your pet to feel happy, secure, and cared for, while you can relax knowing that your pet, and your home if I’m staying there, are in responsible and loving hands.

We are a couple - Kostek and Basil - and we have a lovely small dachshund called Miss Maja :) We both study at AU, so as students we have fairly flexible schedules. Kostek will be doing a remote internship this Autumn as well, so will have plenty of opportunity to pet sit at our home.
We've both had pets our entire lives, and Maja is the latest addition to the parade. She is 4 years old, loves long walks and playing with like minded small and medium sized dogs.As we have our own dog (who has a lot of character :D), we are experienced in taking care of small and medium breeds. We can walk, feed, pet and play with your furry friends. We live near lovely green areas and the beach, so there is plenty of good walking and playing spots around.
As we travel a lot, Maja is used to staying with sitters, and the sitters often have their own pets (both cats and small dogs) and she used to be taken on walks by a dog walker (with a medium dog), so she is used to sharing her space, walks and cuddle time.We welcome other small & medium sized dogs to come on walks or for doggy day care to become best buds with Maja :) We will treat your lovely pet like our own!
Ps. We both speak English, but Basil is a native Danish speaker and Kostek is steadily learning too. Kostek also speaks Polish if that helps :)!

Hi! My name is Mariana I’m Portuguese and currently living in Lystrup. My boyfriend and I have both grown up surrounded by pets — dogs and cats have always been part of our lives and our families. We truly love animals and enjoy including them in our daily activities whenever possible. We’re very outdoorsy, so if the weather is nice and you’d like it, I’m happy to take dogs on longer walks or even go for a run with them. At the same time, I know how hard it can be to find someone you trust to care for your pets, especially when living away from family. That’s exactly why I’d love to help whenever I can. Both my boyfriend and I work in IT and mostly work from home, so your pets would rarely be alone. We also have a fully fenced backyard where pets can safely run around and play, in addition to their daily walks. Our dogs are very friendly with other dogs and with cats, as long as the other dogs aren’t too dominant. For everyone’s comfort and safety, I always recommend a meet-and-greet with me and my pets beforehand.During winter we spend less time outdoors, but we make sure pets still get plenty of attention through indoor play, training, and mental stimulation like practicing tricks. If you’d like to know anything more about me, my pets, or our daily routines, feel free to reach out. I’d be very happy to help take care of your furry family members Practical Information:Meet & Greet: We require a prior meet-up to ensure all pets (including our two dogs) are comfortable together.Schedule for Drop-offs/Pick-ups/Visits:Weekdays (Mon–Fri): 16:00–22:00Weekends: 10:00–22:00Additional Services (Extra Cost Applies):Transport for Long Stays: For boardings longer than 2 nights, I can pick up or drop off your pet within a 40 km radius of Lystrup. Note: All transport must align with the schedule above - e.g., if your location is 30 minutes away, the earliest I can pick up or drop off is 16:30 on weekdays or 10:30 on weekends. Price: The price for this service is per trip (i.e. pick-up OR drop-off) and it depends on the distance: - up to 10 km each way: 150dkk - up to 25 km each way: 200 dkk - up to 40 km each way: 300 dkkAppointment Transport: Need your pet taken to a vet or other appointment? I can arrange this under the same conditions as the transport service (10 km radius, same schedule). Price: 200 dkk per appointment transport (there and back)Other Requests? Let me know - I’ll do my best to accommodate!

Hi All!
I live with my boyfriend in Lystrup, in a very calm area near fields and forests. I’ve lived with dogs since I was 11 (shelter mixed breeds), so I understand firsthand the care, attention, and routine they need to feel happy and secure. I currently have a small dog (10kg) of a mixed breed, who is very cheerful and likes to play with the others, so I decided to also be a petsitter because he would really enjoy the company of a second dog at home. I truly enjoy the rhythm that life with a dog brings — daily walks, fresh air, and having a loyal companion by my side. Walking is something I love, no matter the weather, and it’s even better when shared with a dog. I work part time, so I have enough time to be an engaged petsitter and devote my time to my furry guests.
My motivation to become a pet sitter comes from wanting to offer pet owners peace of mind when they travel or need to be away. I know how important it is to feel confident that your beloved companion is staying in a safe, caring, and loving environment. I treat every dog as I would my own and aim to provide a place where they feel comfortable, relaxed, and well cared for.
I accept vaccinated pets.
