I can't even describe my love for animals, particularly cats. Originally from Poland, I grew up surrounded by animals. I'm an HR and career development coach, but my life's purpose is to serve animals and promote their well-being. I always wanted to have my own cat, and I adopted my first cat, Filemon, 12 years ago in Beijing.
Filemon was found in the apartment building by foreign students as a tiny kitten that could fit in a hand, without her mother seen around. At that time, I wasn't sure if the time was right for me to get a kitten. As the students were finishing their semester in China, I decided to take Filemon. Because she got separated at an early age from her mother, Filemon was quite a challenging match for me as a first-time adopter, prompting me to research and study cat behavior, with my role models being Vicky Halls and Jackson Galaxy. At some point, I considered becoming a cat behavior specialist, but life had different plans.
After moving to Shanghai (with already two rescue cats), I became involved in rescuing cats (as well as some dogs and a rabbit) and set up Fuzzy Kitten Volunteers (FKV). I personally rescued and rehomed around 30 cats and helped getting around 100 animals adopted. During that time, I was using and developing my cat behavior and communication skills to help vulnerable kitties adapt to their new lives and families. Some of our rescues were not adopted in Shanghai, and 8 of them relocated to Copenhagen (including Filemon and Boni, adopted 12 and 11 years ago in Beijing).
Since adopting Filemon until now, I have had experience with many different cat personalities, ages, and medical conditions. Being a world traveler myself, I often hired cat sitters, so I understand how it is to be both a cat sitter and a pet parent who travels and wants the best for their animals.
Last year, I noticed that it could be a little difficult to find the right cat sitter in my area (especially around the holiday season), and I decided to contribute to the local community. Besides, I miss getting to know new cats and their different personalities. I can mainly help around Lyngby/central Copenhagen area, but feel free to write to me even if you live further away (there might be an additional travel fee added depending on your location).
I believe that every cat owner deserves a relaxing holiday break, and every cat deserves personalized and empathic care. I love all the cats, no matter how shy, anxious, or energetic they are. During my rescuing adventure in Shanghai, at some point, I cared for 12 cats simultaneously, including adults and kittens.

During the meet & greet, I offer a free, 30-min travel management/ cat behavior consultation so you can truly enjoy your trip, knowing we are all well-prepared. Because of our own cats, we can't host a new cat here, but I can offer house sitting or drop-in visits. As I deeply care about cats' health & safety, I can only help families with indoor cats.
You can expect daily updates/pictures/videos. I will be happy to help with all usual cat care needs, like feeding, cleaning the litter box, playing, as well as grooming and administering medicine (depending on your cat's needs and behavior) or any other special requests you might have to keep your furry babies happy. I can also take care of your in-house small animals.
