Hi there! I've been part of Pawshake since September 2019 and I've managed my profile with a lot of effort, patience and dedication. I was a petsitter back in my home country, Vienna and now Copenhagen.

I'm Maria, biodiversity expert and forest engineer :) I'm really passionate about animals and love them all, even wanted to study vet but the world had other plans for me. That's why I started offering my services as a side hustle, have over 25 years of experience with different types of pets. I had my own black Labrador for 15 years until she passed away and have taken care of over 70 dogs throughout my life, so I've been on both sides, dog owner and sitter so I am aware of the workload and discipline it takes.

I took courses on dog training, as well as participated in different workshops to broaden my knowledge and be able to offer the best service. I'll listen to your pets' needs and take care of them as if they were mine. I love cuddling and lots of love are definitely included!

Live very close by to a huge nature park and an off-leash dog area where I am well known by my neighbours and other pet owners, as some of they started saying I am a "dog whisperer", really understand all kind of animals and good quality outdoor time are provided. I live in a two-floor rækkehus with a small closed backyard with one housemate, so it is important that your pet is social and not aggressive towards him.

Important information:

House-sitting depending on distance, I still have to work and go to the office ☺️

Bank holidays have a 50% cost increase, other holidays that cost extra are: January 2nd, December 24th, December 31st. Since Pawshake doesn't allow to be able to set up a different price per each day, the payment shall me done separately.

Early or late arrivals will have an extra fee, before 8:30 am on weekends and after 22:00 every day.

Bathing is an extra service.

As according to Pawshake you pet must be able to be alone for periods of time and housetrained. Due to my work, periods of time: up to 8 hours. I can do home office if necessary some of the days. Housetrained: if there are behavioural issues during the booking which were not disclosed prior to the start of it, the pet owner or emergency contact shall pick their pet up as soon as possible after being informed of the situation. Pet owner is responsible for cancelling the booking.

Owners cover any expenses regarding broken things and damage to the property, or extra cleaning (f.e. poo, vomit, stains on the floor, carpet, couch), Pawshake doesn't cover that.

Don't do bookings with over a month of anticipation.
