Hello. My name is Barbara, I am 52 years old and a real animal lover! I am a native English speaker, but speak some German and am learning Danish... I brought my own dog (a Tervuren) with me to Denmark when I moved here 5 years ago from England, but sadly he has now passed away and my family and I are really missing having a dog to walk and to look after! The house isn't the same without one! So, we are very happy to look after your dog(s) instead...

There are lots of great places for dog walking near us, for example in the woods, park and the beach. We are lucky and have all these things within a short distance from us. I like to vary walks to make it more interesting for the dogs (and me!). We also have a nice, dog-friendly, fenced garden for your pet to enjoy and we have a covered, enclosed terrace for your dog to sunbathe on, or sit safely outside if he/she prefers!

I work part-time with children, but I have always also enjoyed looking after animals too. I have looked after and owned many pets over the last 20 years - dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and chickens. My husband works from home so your dog would always have a companion when I'm not around and my teenager is very keen on having a pooch to pamper, so your pet will get a lot of attention, walks and care. Dogs staying with us (overnight or daycare) will get at least two 30+ minute walks per day and lots of play in the house and outside in the garden.

It's best to have a meet and greet session first (free of charge) to make sure I know everything about your pet and you can be confident it be well cared for. I look forward to meeting you and your dog(s)!
