Shannon

Shannon has been completely invaluable during my vacation. As an anxious cat mom with two reserved/anxious cats, it was quite daunting for me to leave my two babies behind, but even after the initial meeting, before I had booked her, I could tell Shannon was the perfect choice for my cats. She has a calm and patience and compassion that my cats must have felt clearly, because she was 'given permission' to pet them so fast, it was really a comfort to see, as they are usually quite shy around strangers. She has not just fed them and cleaned their litter boxes, but made sure they had lots of pets and love and entertainment/playtime. She also cleaned one of my cat's eyes when it was red and irritated and that to me speaks volumes of how much he trusted her, that she was allowed near his eye! He doesn't even like when *I* do that usually. The daily videos and photos were a big comfort while I was away, being able to see that my cats were in such good hands. I could easily tell that this is more than a job for Shannon, that she genuinely cares so much about the cats she looks after, and my cats must have been able to sense that as well.

Shannon showed great care and attentiveness towards the cats, ensuring they were well-fed, had clean litter boxes, and received lots of love and attention so that we could feel completely relaxed during our vacation. Shannon followed our instructions and provided updates with video and pictures on how our cats were doing, which was much appreciated as we missed them a lot.
