I grew up with guinea pigs, a dog and a tortoise and stayed an animal lover all throughout my life, being surrounded with my flatmates' dogs and cats, as well as spending my time petsitting and dogwalking. I am equally skilled scratching dog butts in between long walks as I am lying on the ground blinking slooowly to make scared cats feel at ease.
I offer both dog walking and catsitting, and am always up for tug of war games or hiding stinky treats behind chair legs. I am also used to taking care of sick animals, giving them meds and eye drops for example. If you have a young and energetic dog that still has to learn a few basic skills or a nervous cat that requires a lot of patience, I will be able to adapt to their needs. You'll get regular updates and pictures of your fluffy baby/ies and can enjoy your holidays or be productive at work while I clean cat toilets or scoop up dog poop at the park. Your pet will be well taken care of!
I just moved to Copenhagen with my partner for his job and would love to brighten my new start with some furry love. On an entirely selfish side, it would help me explore the city, get to know locals and get some furry emotional support ;) I also just started learning Danish, but find it very hard to understand anything but super short & simple sentences, so unfortunately, I will only be able to communicate in English/German/French.
I myself am working from home in my studio/office, so I am very flexible in organising my workload - one of my favourite ways to spend my lunch breaks is outside with a doggo ;)
Depending on your dog's physical abilities, I will spend something between 45min and 1h with them outside and/or playing and cuddling at home. I will always try to explore any nearby parks, where they will be able to run with me or have a lot of interesting smelly stuff to explore. With cats, I tend to spend 30-45min, depending on how interested they are in interacting with me. If your cat is not used to strangers, I will probably simply sit on the floor reading or singing to myself, if they are very playful, I will see how good they are at doing somersaults!
I also offer 2 visits/walks per day, in case you have a busy schedule and need a little bit more support and entertainment for your pet!
I am used to give topical or oral medicaments to pets and keep an eye on any kind of allergies/physical impairments etc. Please let me know your pet's health status and don't forget to give me your vet's contact number as well.
I do offer overnight care at your place, but I am very adamant at getting to know you and your pet first. Feel free to schedule at least one meetup beforehand.
I don't offer daycare at my home, unless me and your furry baby know each other well enough for us to be comfortable together in an environment that is new to them. If so, feel free to message me and I will update my profile settings for you to be able to book this service.
If you are interested in me as your petsitter, I'd love to get to know you :)

Mirjam is great! She dealt so well with my angry cat, and managed to win her over in a matter of days. There is no doubt that I will ask for Mirjam’s help in the future. My only worry is that she will not be available, as the the word of her superior cat-whispering skills spreads 😸
Mirjam is amazing! She is so sweet and was the perfect pet sitter for our two cats and dog. She took great care of them, as well as the apartment and we can't wait to have her over again. Would highly recommend her :)
I've taken care of family and friends' pets, as well as petsitting fluffballs, I have experience with rescue animals, worked in a veterinary clinic and an animal park.
