Hej! My name is Arca and I have been living in Copenhagen for more than a year now. We came here with my wife, who is doing her PhD at KU. My background is in environmental sciences. I always care for nature and animals. Even the times I am not close to pets, I go outside for birdwatching with my camera as a hobby🐣

My aunt's terrier, Capkin, aka "womanizer," was my little buddy. He passed away a few years back, but I've got an old pic of him that I still cherish. Taking care of him taught me a lot about what makes our companions’ love. When I was a kid, I had a rabbit called Pamuk (Cotton). Also, I was so lucky that I had the chance taking care of newborn cats. They were lovely and very mobile :) We adopt out 4 of them to new families. So, pet parents can bet I'll treat their loved ones with the same love and attention.

Even though we were thinking to have a dog, unfortunately our contract here does not allow us to share our apartment with a pet. That is why I decided to join Pawshake, spend some time with animals. And who know, maybe we will move to a flat where we can adopt a dog!

I totally understand that it is hard to trust a stranger at first to take care of your loved-ones. I am easygoing with both cats and dogs, happy to take care of them when you are absent. Plus, if you can send a message with details, I can take care of your plants and help you out in practical stuff. I will keep you informed in every detail, send pictures of your pet during my time!

I live in Valby. If you live nearby, I can take your dog to Valby Park, Vestre Kirkegård, Frederiksberg Have or Damhussøen. If not, I can jump on my bike and walk in gardens around your house.

I can take care any size of dogs and cats. Also, you can send me a message if you have rabbits, guinea pigs or hamsters.

I can only accept request for short periods of time since I work full-time.
